EDRG 3344 Reflection

I notice that we had a blog due last week about our reflection of our progress. Today, I presented my MGP about Frogs. I could not believe how nervous I was when I was in front of the class. My hands started to shake and I could feel the nervousness in my throat. Not sure why this was because I have taught in many class rooms with many students before. I think now for me I wanted to make sure that I did this assignment to my best ability and wanted the teacher's approval. Once I did the presentation that took just a few minutes it was no big deal. I know I just want to be able to come across to my students and have them engage in my classroom. I have learned so many strategies and techniques to help me teaching in the classroom along with meeting new people and hearing their experience as well. Looking forward to finishing up the semester and some time with my family for the holidays. Happy Holidays to all.
This is my last two author profile for the semester. Hooray for me! The author for this book is Gary Paulsen. The front cover of this book will attract the attention of your students. It's a little boy who is riding a lawn mover with sunglasses who looks cool. The book is about a comic story about a summer job that becomes a slapstick lesson in business as one boy turns as mountain of grass into a mountain of cash.
This book from the My little Pony series is The Runaway Rainbow by Nora Pelizzari. I remember when I was a child reading about the little ponies and now my daughter has several books from the series. The pictures on the book are so colorful and bright that will catch any child's attention. Talks about making the first rainbow of the season and how it gets away.

EDRG 3321 Blog of presentations

Today was a few more groups presentation. All the groups did an excellent job. The group with the tree cookie and apple along with Wendi narrating the poem was great. They did such a good job on the poster and was quite interesting to me. The next group who had the newspaper was an inventive project. Students will love to make their own newspaper article and I believe that the students would have fun with it. The last group to go had the hand man game which was fun have not played that game in years. But not only was it fun but educational as well for the students. Some students wouldn't even pay attention that you are teaching them they will just think of the game and it is a win win situation for both of them. Great presentations.
