Writing is a process that contains a process of five stages.
Pre-writing – Brainstorming, graphic organizers, maps, webs
Drafting – rough draft, outline
Revising – any additions or deletions, look to elaborate the sentences, add adjectives, or adverbs
Editing – check for conventions errors, punctuation, spelling
Publishing – put it out there, make a book
Here is my story I did in class.
My Dream Vacation
My dream vacation became a reality when I was able to take my whole family to Florida to visit Walt Disney World at no cost to them. That included my husband, daughter, parents, siblings and their family. A grand total of 15 adults and children would go on this vacation. What a trip this would be?
First, we all boarded the plane; however trying to get 15 guests to sit next to each other was a challenge for all us. Of course, you have this person who wants to sit next to this person and vice versa. Once we were all seated it was time for take off. Four of us were scared out of our minds to be on a plane. Every noise or movement that we heard or felt we would take the skin off of our neighbor’s arms. It was a good thing we had our family there to help us get through it all. We finally landed and went off to the resort.
Before we could head off to the parks we needed to check into the resort. Who thought this would take forever separating the rooms. We went threw the whole process again of who wanted to sleep in her room or in his room. My mother at this time said you are sleeping here and you are sleeping there. When mom speaks you listen. We all put are things down in our rooms and got settle so we could go to the parks.
We visited the Universal Studios, Safari Park, Epcot Center, and Magic Kingdom throughout our stay in Florida. We saw so many characters, rode many rides, and saw lots of shows. We even had to buy a whole new suitcase just for souvenirs to make it back home. The most memorable studio was Magic Kingdom. We had gone to one of Cinderella’s shows and my father was chosen to come on stage with her and sing and dance with her. My father is not for one to get in front of people and do something like that. This was priceless, my dad turned beat red. Not only did he turn red in actually participated and did want Cinderella ask him to do. This made the whole trip worth it.
Afterwards, we went to dinner one last time in Magic Kingdom. We were able to have dinner with all the characters at the park. We enjoyed the time we were able to spend with each other. Later, that night we went back to the resort and pack and had to go to the airport and come back home. We will always have the memories from Walt Disney World as a family vacation.
